This power adapter is appropriate and in accordance with the standard model that Amazon calls "Kindle Keyboard '(Kindle 3) but NOT with Touch Kindle and least expensive models (not related to $ 79) now known as the" plain Kindle. It can be used almost anywhere in the world (100-240V) for as long as you have the proper plug adapter.

To fill your Kindle will need a generic USB Type A / Micro B cable that is included with every purchase Kindle and you can do it in several different ways:

- Via laptop or PC USB port frngan (you'll need a laptop or PC)
- The generic adapter or USB cable
- With a third-party USB charger, branded or generic (USB charger ')

Special charger works all for all the 3d and 4th generation light, and also great for filling many other gadgets which can be via USB port. I use it to fill the Torch, a few other mobile phones and children fill their MP3 player. And indeed, most of the USB charger will work fine on your Kindle. One good example is the Blackberry.

Amazon fillers may only cost a few dollars, but more of generic and comes with the Amazon logo to add to your peace of mind. For anyone, here is the Amazon adapter specifications:

INPUT (AC): 100-240V, 50/60Hz
OUTPUT (DC): 4.9V, 0.85A

The price fluctuates so I will not discuss the 'price' but it's always a good idea to look for an alternative diAmazon before implementing decisions.
